CHOLESTEROL

Everyone must be familiar with the term cholesterol. The word cholesterol is often associated with things about the delicious food, excessive weight, age and heart disease. But what exactly is cholesterol itself ?

DEFINITION
Cholesterol is a complex compound that produced 80% of the body (liver) and 20% were from outside the body (nutrients) for a variety of functions in the body include the cell wall.

TYPES OF CHOLESTEROL

2. Cholesterol HDL (high density lipoprotein)

3. Triglycerides
In addition to LDL and HDL, there is another type of fat called triglycerides. This type of fat is widely available in various organs in the body. Increased levels of triglycerides in the blood can increase cholesterol levels. A number of factors can affect the levels of triglycerides in the blood such as obesity, alcohol consumption, sugar and fatty foods.

The important factor is the cause of increasing cholesterol, which are :
1. Factors that can not be controlled

b) overweight
c) Lack of exercise
d) Smoking
e) an unhealthy lifestyle
f) Stress
g) Diabetes mellitus

j) Obesity
